I am eight years old, standing in my grandfather’s garden, wiggling my toes in red Wellington boots. Spring has arrived, and I am excited because Grandpa has started bringing flowers home again. I love watching them bloom and slowly fade on our dining table.
I watch him cut the daffodils flanking the main path, their curious yellow heads nodding in every direction. His arms are full of gold. I know what comes next.
In many ways, I am still that kid with flowers, excited by what is about to unfold. I kept bringing home flowers, grasses, pinecones, sticks, and blooming branches — first to that dining table, then to my university room, and later to the places I called home.
Today, I bring flowers into your life, your spaces, and your celebrations. I want to understand a home’s beating heart, the story behind a celebration, and a brand's character. What makes it yours? What do you want people to feel when they walk in? From there, I find the flowers, colours, and natural forms that express your vision.
That is what Mea Flora Creative Studio is about: bringing elements of the natural world into meaningful connection with the people and places around us - to tell our stories.
